Hello and thanks for taking the time to read this. I think this About page is important to understand the philosophy behind Dads and Kettlebells.

Kettlebells have been a passion of mine for a while now and I just love them. However, I do use other tools too and during our training we will incorporate dumbbells, barbells, etc. Don’t think we’ll just use kettlebells for all of our workouts as my goal is to help you achieve your goal no matter what.

When it comes to documenting and blogging, I tend to be to the point, in person I’m a bit of a goof. I really do care about you and want nothing but the best for you. Together we’ll celebrate all of your successes in and out of the gym. Here, I’m kind of bland and well… boring. 🙂

I also know you have a life and don’t want to be tied to the gym and have to come in for your training on a set schedule for months on end. That’s why I incorporate In-person training, hybrid training, and online training – in steps.

Step one

If you’re brand new to fitness, we’ll need to be in person so I can help you learn the workout movements correctly. It’s really hard to teach over the interwebs and watching videos (although possible). It’s truly in both of our interest to start off on a solid base. Initially we’ll meet 2-3 times a week. Depending on how well you do, expect 3-4 months in-person.

Step two

Now that you have the fundamentals down, you’re probably sick of seeing me on the same day and time each week. That’s why you’ll have all of your personalized workout plans on the app for you to do on your own time, at the gym of your choosing. We’ll still meet once or twice a month to go over those weird movements and hone our skills.

Step three

Now that you don’t need me anymore in-person, we’ll do the same thing as above except not meeting in-person every month. Unless you want to, then we can meet. Maybe you’ll miss my quirkiness.

Honestly that’s it. An initial up-front investment and then a cheaper investment once we are in agreement you feel confident in the gym on your own.
